Zero-Click Commerce describes a purchasing experience where no clicks are required to complete a transaction. The customer doesn't click a link, tap a button on a webpage, or interact with any interface outside of the messaging conversation. The entire purchase — product selection, payment, and confirmation — happens through replies in a text thread.

The term distinguishes this model from traditional mobile commerce (which requires clicking through to a website), app-based commerce (which requires opening an app), and even some "conversational commerce" implementations that still rely on web links for payment.
